Coolest little ice cream shop. Homemade ice cream tastes so much better. The window folks are always nice. Walk-up window, you wait & eat on benches on patio or take to go. Popular on hot afternoons but not a long wait. Pic is of chocolate ice cream with brownie pieces.

The ice cream is amazing! I would give five stars except for a couple days ago I placed an order for pickup online. My friend was going to pick it up since I don't drive but the pick up time was an hour from the time I ordered which wasn't said until after the order went through and payment was taken. My friend had to leave before then so I called and tried to cancel literally five minutes after ordering but they said because my order was being worked on that I couldn't cancel. I didn't make a scene I just thanked them and hung up but I'm out almost $23 and no ice cream from that order. I'm just kind of curious as to why the pick up time was an hour out when they were already working on it five minutes after ordering.

Always love going here to get some ice cream. Love that they have plenty of flavors to choose from and based on the few flavors we have tried, they're all pretty good. Portions are generous - small is 3.5 scoops. Their sampler is a great choice if you can't make up your mind with flavors you want to try but don't want to commit to a lot of that one flavor. My favorites so far are graham central station, chocoholic chunk and banana cream pie. Would definitely want to try their hurricanes.

I had a chocolate shake extra thick. I thought it would have been thicker. Oh well it was good. Everyone else had ice cream and they loved it. I think I should have tried the malt instead, oh well, next time I suppose.So to the owners reply.....Did you read the first line of my review? I ordered extra thick, and it wasn't very thick! And because of your lack of attention to detail, 4 stars is now 3.

Guys this location of Handel’s specifically has the best employees! There is this one kind gentleman with a warm smile that treated me so well. He is a great leader, loves babies, and doing some great work. 10/10 experience and would 100% consider visiting this shop in the future!
