What is Rewards Giant?
Rewards Giant is a cashback reward program based out of New York. It is run by a parent company, Reward Zone USA, which was founded in 2011 by Matthew Conlin.
Matthew Conlin is also Chief Customer Officer and Co-Founder of Fluent Inc.
Reward Giant and sister sites Up Level Rewards, Flash Rewards, and Survey Voices operate under the surface much like cashback giant Rakuten. Sort of…
Rakuten gives you cash back when purchasing products from various brands and retailers. Reward Giant gives you cash back for completing offers, playing games, subscribing to services, etc.
Rewards Giant is available in the US (rewardsgiant.com), Canada (rewardsgiantca.com), and Australia (rewardsgiantau.com).
Is Rewards Giant Legit?
Rewards Giant is legit, but it's not unreasonable to think it's not. Here's why…
Unlike cash back programs that pay 1% to 15% of your purchase price, Rewards Giant offers significantly more.
Depending on how many deals (offers) you complete, they pay as much as $1000, which could be 100% or more of what you spend. The goal, of course, is more.
It sounds too good to be true. Free money.
For example, the following comment is from a Better Business Bureau complaint (that was resolved).
In this instance, the person had spent $150, and they ultimately received a reward of $1000. That's more than 650% “cashback”.
How can that be possible?
I'll explain how Rewards Giant works in detail below, but as you've probably guessed, one reason it's possible to pay such high percentages is that some people don't qualify. They may misread the instructions, forget to submit proof of completion or quit before doing the required number of deals.
And this is where it gets messy because some participants will claim they've fulfilled all requirements, and Rewards Giant will claim they did not.
In a dispute, there is no way to know who is right without all the details, which we don't have. So, it would be unfair to say who is right.
So, although I understand some participants' frustration, I can't say Rewards Giant is wrong. I just don't know and there is no actual evidence to say they are.
I'm not making a judgment about their service, just stating that they are legit.
As mentioned earlier, the parent company, Reward Zone USA, has been around since 2011 and is a registered entity in New York State.
Of course, some shady operators can persist for a decade or more, but it's rare, especially for an LLC registered in the US.
It's not for example, one of those sites that's unsafe to visit. The kind where there is no legitimate business or identifiable owner associated with it.
Those are typically created by someone completely anonymous and, most likely, in a part of the world where authorities can't track them down. An example would be a site like RewardsFeed, and those sites usually die off within a year if not sooner.
That's not the situation here.
In fact, not only is Reward Giant's parent company located in the US, it has also had success in the US court system.
In the case Alvord v. Fluent Inc., Utah residents complained that Fluent Inc. through its subsidiary Reward Zone USA, LLC sent each of them telemarketing text messages in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
The case was dismissed, and while some might disagree with their telemarketing tactics (I don't like telemarketing either), winning in court says something about their legitimacy.
It's also important to know that Reward Zone USA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fluent, Inc, a publicly-traded company with a current market cap of $100M.
Matthew Conlin is a co-founder of both Reward Zone and Fluent, Inc.

How Does Rewards Giant Work?
You must first sign up for Rewards Giant by clicking on the Quick Start button. Next, you will be asked to choose a reward (you can change this later), followed by a quick survey.
The survey questions include:
- Do you do most of your shopping online?
- How do you plan to use your reward?
- How many times do you go shopping per week?
Once you've answered those questions, you'll be prompted to enter your email address, followed by your full name, address, mobile phone number, date of birth, and gender.
Before going further, I highly recommend that you read their privacy policy. You can find it at the bottom of the registration form.
There is some important information about how they may share or sell your information here. It also explains what kind of information they may collect. In addition to your contact information, examples include:
- Marital status
- Home or auto ownership
- Political affiliation
- Health and wellness-related issues
This information is collected from your responses to survey questions, so if you're uncomfortable sharing, you can still proceed at this point and opt-out of individual surveys later.
Rewards Giant Requirements
- Residents of the US who are at least 18 years of age are eligible to participate in the Reward program.
- Registration information, including your full name, a valid phone number, address, and email, are required.
- You must complete the required number of deals corresponding to each level within sixty days of finishing your first deal. These deals often require paid participation or subscription.
- To qualify for your reward, you must complete the reward claim process as soon as you have met the requirement for the number and level of Deals. You will need ID verification to obtain your reward.
What are Reward Giant Deals?
To receive your reward, you must complete a specific number of deals. These include paid participation apps, subscriptions, etc. An example might be signing up for a three-month trial of Apple Music.
Other examples include:
- Join Hulu, Disney Plus, Apple TV, etc.
- Click three sponsored ads on Yelp.
- Play Coin Pop, Robo Killer, Board Kings, Shadow Legends, and other games (meeting specific levels, upgrades, etc.).
- Get a prepaid credit card from Card.com.
- Sign up to drive for Uber.
- Start an Amora Coffee subscription.
These are just a handful of more than 350 deals you can do.
How Many Deals Do You Need to Do?
There are various rewards, each corresponding with a certain number of levels and deals.
- $5 Reward – Level 2 (2 Deals – one level 1 deal and one level 2 deal)
- $100 Reward – Level 3 (5 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, and three level 3 deals)
- $250 Reward – Level 4 (10 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, three level 3 deal, and five level 4 deals)
- $500 Reward – Level 5 (15 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, three level 3 deals, five level 4 deals, and five level 5 deals)
- $750 Reward – Level 5 (20 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, three level 3 deals, five level 4 deals, and five level 5 deals)
- $1000 Reward – Level 5 (25 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, three level 3 deals, five level 4 deals, and fifteen level 5 deals)
Obviously, the details matter here.
It's not only the number of deals you complete, but each deal is also assigned a level. You may forfeit your reward if you complete the correct number of deals but the wrong levels.
How Do Cashback and Giveaway Sites Make Money?
Rewards Giant and similar sites work on the premise that members go further with a deal than required.
The best example is someone signing up for a subscription with the intention of canceling, but instead enjoying the service and keeping it for months or years.
Another example is getting deep into a game you might not otherwise play, and continuing to upgrade your character, buy game items, etc. beyond the deal requirements.
The rewards sites get paid a commission when you spend money. This is called affiliate marketing, or in some cases, cost-per-action (CPA), in which they are paid for generating leads.
Of course, most participants intend to sign up for free trials, one-month subscriptions, etc., and cancel before spending significant money.
Rewards sites like these make money when people forget to cancel.
They also make money when members don't qualify for their rewards. This could be for several reasons.
Some members complete a few deals but forget (or get bored), quitting before reaching the required number. Others might submit the wrong documentation or complete the incorrect number of deal levels.
When this happens, the accusation is that reward sites disqualify members unfairly and refuse to pay. For some sites, that is true.
However, I've read complaints (about parent company Reward Zone USA), but don't have any actual evidence to say that they engage in this practice.
These same frustrations arise for per-task rewards sites like e-Rewards, Bizrate Rewards, etc. but when they occur, are a little easier to swallow. When there's an issue with payment after completing a single task, the time, effort (and/or money) is less than completing a group of tasks for a single reward.
At the end of the day, the amount of money cashback and rewards sites make from affiliate commissions, lead generation, etc., should be greater than their reward obligations.
Who is Rewards Giant For?
Rewards Giant is for anyone who wants to earn money… but specifically, it's great for someone who is organized and has an eye for detail.
One thing to keep in mind is that you'll need a valid credit card to complete many deals.
Finally, you must be comfortable sharing your personal information online, including scanning or uploading a clear photo of an unexpired, government-issued ID.
Who It's Not For
Rewards Giant might not be for you if you're uncomfortable sharing personal details online.
There is also a household waiting period that limits you from entering repeatedly, so it might not be for you if you've received a reward recently, or if you're looking for a regular income online rather than an occasional payout.

Payments are made via gift cards of various values. The value corresponds with the number of deals you complete and the level you've reached at the time of your reward claim.
Rewards Giant Reviews and Complaints
Some reviews and complaints about Rewards Giant don't inspire confidence.

What I Like About Rewards Giant
- High-paying rewards.
- Wide variety of deals and offers to participate in, and many you might be interested in even without reward incentives.
- Easy way to earn if you follow instructions, read the fine print, and are comfortable sharing personal information online.
What I Don't Like
- The high number of complaints.
- Sharing government-issued ID online and other personal information.
- Rigid rules and instructions to qualify. There doesn't seem to be much flexibility if you make an error or submit something incorrectly.
Where Do You Go from Here?
You'd like to make some extra money, and I can relate. Who doesn't want more money?
Whether Rewards Giant is how you should earn it, I can't say. That's for you to decide. In my case, I'm uncomfortable sharing that level of information online (even when it comes to companies in regulated industries like financial institutions). But that's just me.
It doesn't mean Rewards Giant isn't for you. And I certainly don't want to discourage you from an opportunity to make money for yourself or your family.
I can only suggest you do your due diligence. Follow their instructions closely, and if possible… participate in deals you would consider doing anyway (even without Rewards Giant).
If you're between eligibility periods, as mentioned earlier, there are additional ways you can make money online.
You might be a student in school or a single parent at home. You may have health challenges that make regular work difficult, or maybe you just hate your job and want a way out.
If that's the case,an online businessmay be what you want.
